Thank you! Smile I started thinking it since they both seem to have the same agenda.
I saw a comment on Youtube a few days ago and I tend to agree. Basically, in my own words, Amon is like Stalin and Tarrlock is like Hitler. Though Amon/Stalin and Tarrlock/Hitler both want/ed power, they have different ways of getting it.

Amon, like Stalin, uses "equality" to gain power. By taking away people's bending and making non-benders think it’s a good thing, Amon makes everyone "equal" so that no one can stop him from taking control of the entire world. Stalin did exactly this when he got control over the Soviet Union. He set up a "class-less" society and sent everyone who had the means to overthrow him to "Work Camps" where they died of being over-worked. Some of the "best of the best" were sent there, so all the people that were left were the "common-folk". With Amon in charge, everyone is supposedly "equal", but they really aren't considering that Amon and his army are more powerful than the rest and can intimidate everyone. It’s the same with Stalin.

Tarrlock, like Hitler, seems to want to set up a "Master Race" (as Hitler said many decades ago) of benders. By doing so, he has all of the benders on his side so he can take down the Equalists and eventually take over. Like Hitler did in the rise of the Third Reich, Tarrlock put in curfews for the non-benders and he had them arrested for supposedly being allied with the Equalists. Thankfully, he hasn’t put them in concentration camps.

One thing I thought after reading the comment was that Hitler and Stalin set up an agreement. Even though they were sworn enemies of each other, they set up an agreement that neither one would attack each other so that they could each gain land for their “empires” (although Hitler broke that agreement sometime during WWII). If Amon and Tarrlock are similar to Stalin and Hitler, then maybe their “relationship” is similar too. From what I’ve seen, Tarrlock hasn’t been doing that great of job on tracking the Equalists. Maybe they had some type of agreement as well. Maybe to not attack each other so they could get Korra out of the way or something. I’m guessing at this point.

So, long story short, yes, they both sort of have similar agendas, but not completely the same. Sorry for going on a Historical rant there.

What if Tarrlock is Hama's grandson or great grandson. O.o

OKAY.
So i wanna talk about this because I am currently obsessed with ATLA. Wink SO MUCH EPICNESS
I'm on episode 34 I think....I'm in Book 2, Earth. XD I am an Earthbender!!!! WOOOOOOT.
Toph is my favorite character. I like Katara too and Sokka and Aang, but Toph is my favorite. XD
Zuko now has a special place in my heart (it's okay Satine he's still yours) because I sobbed REALLY HARD over his flash-back episode. That really made me depressed. XD I cried so hard!!! Wink

AZULA IS A FREAK. I seriously think she's a psychopath. xD

Sokka is hilarious. I am falling in love with him. XD "Meat and Sarcasm, what am I without them?!" I was like "OMG I AM SOKKA" xD
Katara is epic. She's the level-headed one in the group. Wink
And Aang is the all-star!!! He's so cool!!!! I think he's adorable. Very innocent, but with lots of inner-angst! LOL!!

Toph is just too awesome. She's blind, but more epic than any seeing-character. Wink
Zuko and Uncle Iroh are awesome. I seriously am starting to love them a lot. Very Happy

OH. Momo is my second favorite character after Toph. Momo is my babeh. I want to keeeeeep himmmmm. Really I love him. SO MUCH CUTE.

Okay enough ranting. Wink I'm going to watch more Avatar now.

P.S. IS IT SATURDAY YET?????
