Nobody's perfect...but Obi SHOULD be Razz I agree with SWA, he was a little hard on Anakin :/

I don't have read the complete jedi quest series yet, so i don't express my point of view, but the relationship Master-Padawan between Obi-Wan and Anakin has always been difficult.

I love the obi-Wan's character, he is a great jedi cit."Strong like Master Windu and wise like master yoda", but is a men with the responsibility of training the chosen one...and tries to keep his promise to Qui-Gon.

Exactly and thats no easy task, i agree obiwan and anakins relationship was like you said difficult (it shows in Aotc) they have very different personalities which i feel definitly is attributed to how they were raised. I don't feel obiwan was too harsh with anakin, he had his job to do he needed to be strict with anakin to shape him into a jedi. Especially in school of fear yes i agree he was harsh but he had reason to be i won't give it away but anakin did screw up a little bit there and needed to be reminded that actions have consequences i personally think obiwan handeled it well

I was mad at Obi-Wan at the end of School of Fear! I don't think he should have been so hard on Anakin. Yeah, he screwed up, but everyone makes mistakes.

Remember in the Clone Wars when Ahsoka lost her whole squad of fighters? Yes, Anakin scolded her, but he also made sure to console her.

I actually do think he's a better Master than Obi-Wan. He had a closer bond with Ahsoka then he did with Obi-Wan. And Ahsoka is a pretty good Jedi.

I don't know... I think Anakin and Obi-Wan's bond was pretty strong. I mean, Anakin and Ahsoka were together for only three years... and Anakin and Obi-Wan were Master and Padawan for 10 years, and really good friends through the war. They were brothers!

Hmm... the thing is, we don't get to see Anakin and Obi-Wan together much in the Clone Wars. And in the Jude Watson books, they don't seem extremely close.

But they have a lot of Anakin/Obiwan stuff in the older clone wars novels... Labyrinth of evil for instance. They've got a brotherly relationship in that. And I loved how Jude Watson did Anakin and Obi-Wan in Legacy of the Jedi...and the last line in that book made me almost cry :( I actually really like the way she does them in Jedi Quest, even if Obi-Wan is a little hard on Anakin sometimes. Like at the end of The Moment of Truth... that was so sweet!

I haven't read those. I actually haven't read much of the EU. But what I have read, they aren't extremely close.

I LOVE Jude Watson's books!
I've read the Jedi Apprentice series, Secrets of the Jedi, Jedi Quest series, Legacy of the Jedi, The Episode 1: Queen Amidala's Journal and I'm working on The Last of the Jedi series!
My favorite of her books I guess are the Jedi Apprentice series, Secrets of the Jedi, and the Jedi Quest series. Though I love all the ones she's read.

Oh, and on the question about Obi-Wan being to harsh- yes he was strict, but Qui-Gon was as well. But, like his former Master, Obi-Wan was really cared about his Padawan and fought the Council on numerous occasions for him(like when he wanted to have Anakin build his lightsaber, when he thought he should get knighted, etc.). Really, Obi-Wan let Anakin get away with a lot more than most Jedi Masters would.
Plus, I really love their bond- it's my favorite in the Saga Smile

If you didn't like Ferus in Jedi Quest then you'll probably like him in "The Last of the Jedi." He's a lot different there- isn't as stiff and rule-following as he was in Jedi Quest.
